Dealing With Insecurites

Today I am here to talk about insecurities, specifically when my insecurities blew up in my face! We all have insecurities both internal and external. The older I get the more I realize just how silly my external insecurities are (e.g. body blemishes, stretch marks, wavy tongue: yeah I know that’s a weird one, and general “imperfections”). The more mature I get the more I understand how emotionally wasteful it is to stress and worry about things that I cannot change. There is something about that that is so freeing.

Now my internal insecurities are a whole other story! I had to do some serious internal work and soul searching to get myself together. Insecurities are something that everyone deals with! I don’t care how pretty you are, how wealthy you are, or how perfect you appear to other people, everyone struggles with this at some point in life! In this video, I talk about a few of the internal and external insecurities I have faced in my life and how I have overcome them.

The Breakdown Banner

A lot of our external insecurities are silly. If you can’t control it, there is no point in stressing about it. Embrace it and move on with your life!

A lot of our internal insecurities are lies that we believe about ourselves. These lies cause us anxiety, stress, and worry. The REAL truth is that it doesn’t matter where you came from, who your parents are, how much money you have, or the education you have received…. you are able to accomplish great things simply because God ALREADY said so and because you work towards them. PERIOD!

Keep your head high, realize that you are good enough, and take the world by storm! I hope this post will inspire you to let go of your insecurities and live freely.

This was so inspiring especially since I’m been having trouble dealing with insecurities and objections of my own lately. Thank you for the reassurance.
